DVD -- American

Released by: ADV Films (http://www.advfilms.com/farscape)
Price: US$24.98
Format: NTSC (Region 1)
Audio: Dolby Digital 5.1 (Audio 1), Dolby Digital 2.0 Surround (Audio 2),
cast and/or crew commentary (Audio 3)
Captions/Subtitles: English Subtitles (V.1)
                    English Closed Captions (V.2)
Animated Main, Scene Selection, Audio, and Extras Menus

Each release consists of single disc in a plastic keepcase. The episodes are
presented in the intended viewing order (which is different from the order
in which they were broadcast in the US on the Sci-Fi Channel). The first
season episodes are presented in their uncut versions, as broadcast by the
BBC2 (not counting the cuts that the BBC made for censorship reasons), which
run approximately four minutes longer than the versions that aired in the US
on the Sci-Fi Channel. The episodes appear to run an additional two minutes
longer, but this is due to PAL-to-NTSC conversion for the masters, which
causes the episodes to play slightly slower, and with a slightly lower pitch
to the soundtrack.

Names in parentheses following the episode title indicate the people doing
the audio commentary for that episode. As of early April 2001, it's been
rumored that there will be no commentaries beyond those on Volume 3.

Action Figures

Santa was good to me (I now own John, D'argo, Zhaan, Chiana, and Aeryn), so I can say with great authority these ROCK!  The figures are available through a few different sources, and I've heard they're now appearing in retail stores, but this is the place that gave birth to them -

http://store.yahoo.com/toyvault/

They have about a dozen items for sale, with more to come.

Some UK fans (Jay and Paul) have written great reviews of the figures (down to the tiniest of details).  Check them out at -
